Glacier National Park
From Bozeman, Montana we decided to go north to Glacier National Park. It rained quite a bit but cleared for a couple of days so we could see the Park. First on the list was “going-to-the-sun” road. The road is narrow, steep, and winding with pull-outs for viewing. Large Vehicles are restricted so no motor homes are allowed. We drove our new (used) jeep which is working out well for us. A couple of weeks earlier a land slide covered part of the road so it was under construction and down to one lane. It is a beautiful drove never the less. At Logan’s Pass we stopped and hiked to Hidden Lake. Saw plenty of mountain goats and beautiful wild flowers along the way.
